I am a Christian, a mom to three great kids, a wife to a terrific husband, and a registered nurse. I have been a photography enthusiast for so many years. With the support and encouragement of my family, I decided in 2012 to take a step forward, and actually profit from what has been a passion for so long.
I am a self-taught photographer, and I learn more about photography every day. I love photographing children and families, including the family pet. I am also available for high school senior portraiture, maternity sessions, engagement sessions, and head shots. I do on-location outdoor photography in a setting of your choice. I also offer indoor sessions in my in-home studio space. I love to hear about your ideas for what you hope to capture during your session, and I welcome the addition of any sentimental "props" that you wish to incorporate, such as Grandma's quilt, or Grandpa's war medal. If it's important to you, it's important to me.
I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America, and I am continually educating myself in the latest updates of the photography industry, both via online and personal mentoring sessions, as well as educational and informational seminars. I am a vendor of Lucy Jane Frame Co. frames, and Photoblocks. I am a licensed business in the state of West Virginia, and have been since the inception of Nicole Dalton Photography in 2012. I appreciate my community's support of my small business, and I am sure to return my patronage to other small business owners in this community who put their trust in me for capturing their special moments.
Thank you to Frank Bernasek of Frank Bernasek Photography - Maui, Hawaii, for the photo of my family.
