Late last summer, I happened upon a gorgeous dress in a designer showcase featured on Facebook. I had been following the Maddy James Clothing Facebook page for some time, but had never made a purchase from designer and owner Andrea Sandal. I knew when I saw the apple dress, that that was all about to change. I watched the showcase page closely to be sure I was ready at the kick-off, since this was a dress that was to be made in a very limited quantity. My stalking paid off, and I got the dress! I was so excited for a Back-To-School photo shoot based around this dress. It did not disappoint!

I was smitten with the design of this dress, but also the workmanship was outstanding! I knew Maddy James Clothing was to become a clothing company that I would watch closely in hopes of purchasing more items. When I shared some of the photos above, I received so many comments and messages asking about the dress. When the photos were shared with Andrea, she contacted me and asked if I would ever be interested in working with her to feature some of her designs. Would I?!? I told her to contact me ANY time!

My next purchase was a Christmas top purchased through another showcase. It arrived, and as expected, was amazing! It made the perfect companion for some of our Christmas celebrations. It was very well made using quality fabrics, and a design that looked lovely on Georgia. I should also note that Georgia is a little picky about her clothing, and no matter how beautiful it is, if it doesn't feel good on, she will not wear it. She loves her Maddy James Clothing pieces!

Andrea contacted me about photographing an Easter dress for her, and I was so glad to be able to help her out.
