Today was a day of firsts. It was the first time (at least in a long time) that I called off my other job as a Registered Nurse due to accumulated snowfall. Today was the first time that I can recall having around 4 inches of heavy, wet snow before Halloween. And today was the first time that I, as Nicole Dalton Photography, got to take part in a snow day session. Having my precious children as my subjects made it all the more enjoyable!

I suppose all of the cold, snowy weather got me to thinking about how I would like to help many of you cross an item off your "Christmas to-do list" early, by offering a Christmas Mini Session.

I am offering 2 options with my Mini Session, so please be sure to read on for lots of info. I will announce times very soon, so be ready to request your time slot as quickly as possible, as I expect slots to fill right away.

I have many plans for this blog over the next several weeks. I intend to make posts offering photography tips, inspiration, sneak peeks, and life in general. I hope that I can always offer things you all will find informative and enjoyable. If there is anything in particular that you would like for me to post about, please let me know. I love to interact with others who are as passionate as I am about photography!

With that being said, I hope this post finds all of you well, warm, and wonderfully blessed. I have now officially gotten my feet wet with another first for today--my first blog entry.
